Starting with QAP v9.4, users with dual-display or multi-monitor systems have more control on the location of the Windows Explorer windows displaying their favorite folders. If the default file manager in File Managers tab is Windows Explorer, the tab includes a new option On a multi-monitor system, always open the Explorer window on the active monitor when system has more than one monitor. Opening Explorer windows on multi-monitor systems Use the "Edit QAPconnect.ini" button in "Options", tab "File managers".Here is a summary of new features and improvements in Quick Access Popup version 9.3 and 9.4. Wrong path or file name for QAPconnect applicationĬ:\Program Files (x86)\XYPlorer Free\XYplorerFree.exe.Ĭheck values for in QAPconnect.ini. It seems to be working fine now and all of my old settings are there. THen I manually pasted the content into C:\PortableApps\quickaccesspopup\QuickAccessPopup.ini. I then opened C:\PortableApps\quickaccesspopup\QuickAccessPopup-backup-20201117.ini and copied all of it's contents. QAP would restart, but I would only get the default menu. *IDEA: Create backups of QAPconnect.ini too?Īnyway, I did File Menu > Import > then browsed to one of the back up inis. I had to re-enter my reg code before I could even launch QAP, but that's all good. No worries though, It won't take long for me to rebuild the setup I had prevoiusly.ĮDIT: Also, I did exit QAP before I did all that. Unfortunately, I'm an idiot and didn't make a back up. My custom subfolder of favicons survived, but everything else got replaced. My file manager (xyplorer) asked if I want to "skip" or "replace existing" I chose to "replace all" and that's just what it did - LOL. Then I renamed it quickaccesspopup and dropped it info the C:\PortableApps folder so it would overwrite the old one. I put the quickaccesspopup-11_0_7_9_2-beta folder back in my Downloads folder.
